      Pros

      I've been with DeVry for about 8 months and have seen so many promotions and advancement from within. DeVry cares about it's colleagues just as much as it's students. There are so many opportunities to improve your skills and management helps you put together a plan to advance in your career. You truly feel they care about your success in and off the job.

      Cons

      The insurance benefits are not the best. Because I feel the school and the company are top titer when it comes to making opportunities available to all, it's truly surprising and frustrating that the benefits do not match that level of quality care. It's hard to find in network providers even in a big city because of the second rate Healthcare company DeVry chose to offer it's employees in the expensive benefits package.

Our benefits are administered by a private organization (UMR) because it offers a concierge type service to our colleagues (you can reach out to them and they will do all of the leg work to find you a provider based on your individual needs) but our network coverage is from the top healthcare insurer in the US (UnitedHealthcare).       DeVry Day was a wonderful example of our positive culture, meaningful work, and commitment to making a difference. Welcoming and congratulating graduates allowed me to celebrate their achievements firsthand and witness the impact of the support and resources DeVry provides throughout their educational journey. The event created a sense of community, recognition, and pride that reflected our dedication to student success. Seeing graduates and their families celebrate this milestone reinforced how our work contributes to helping students achieve their goals and create better futures for themselves
