Pros

Remote work environment, work/life balance is valued and encouraged. Great benefit options including additional services for mental and physical health. Opportunities to grow. Supportive leadership. They make it known you are valued as an employee. Pay is fair and there are plenty of opportunities for overtime

Cons

When I interviewed, I asked specific questions about how much importance is placed on metrics. I was told that they mattered in terms of performance reviews. However, I feel they severally underestimated the importance of metrics day to day. Metrics and performance are constantly part of the conversation. It is not impossible to hit the desired metric goals; however, the daily emphasis on hitting these numbers could be stressful for those anxious or uncomfortable with it. Plus, I think when you take an advising role, you don't expect metrics to be the most important priority. Student care is definitely #1 in terms of priority but hitting those metric numbers is a close second.

Pros

Work from home, good benefits, paid time off & the pay.

Cons

They say it’s not a KPI based position but it is. They will not give commission because they say we should be in it for the students and not numbers but the position is solely based on numbers. This is not a warm, team friendly position. Even your team mates are in competition with you. You will work two Saturdays out of the month and sometimes even Sundays and they still won’t be satisfied with your work ethic.
