Pros
In my 4+ years career in Deel, the biggest pro for me was working remotely. I generally book 2 weeks holidays: 1 week completely time off, 1 week working remotely. This reduces my "post vacation" stress and increase my engagement(working from different location/country). Also, I can arrange my working hours based on my personal agenda(ofc, if meetings allow me). I take care of my family first and start to work around 10-11am OR sometimes I start to work early to leave early. When I join deel, it was 700 people company so it was easy get involved in decisions but it still (7000+ people) keeps that spirit.
Cons
Two biggest cons: (good to know before joining) 1. Deel never sleeps. In Deel, everyone is remote and colleagues are all around the world. It means that your day end is someone's day start. It is possible to get a lot of slack messages while you are going to close your laptop. However, everyone is aware of this situation. It is normal to send a message and get a reply next day. This is a con if you cannot manage it. (you can find yourself replying slack in bed around 11pm). However, it is totally manageable. 2. Slack is office. Because Deel is remote-born. Everyone is working from home and Slack is main communication channel. Be prepared to get a lot of slack messages. You can spend your whole day by replying slack messages. This may prevent you to be productive. You should learn when you reply, when to not. Again, it is manageable but takes time to master.
