Pros

Plenty of GS-13 Engineering Positions if you already have a degree and about 10 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry.

Cons

The only way to start and progress your career as an Engineer in this agency without about 10 years of experience is an Internship or Recent Graduate position in the NLLP Program. The NLLP Program requires you to complete an extensive list of repetitive and tedious assignments in order to get promoted and move up the ranks. As an Engineer with a lower pay grade than my peers in my group, management requires me to perform the same level of work as my peers, plus several additional duties that keep getting delegated down to me, plus all the useless NLLP assignments. Long story short, good luck completing all the NLLP assignments to get promoted if you're an Engineer with an excessive work load.
