Corporate benefits were good. Some people actually care. Leadership allows growth from within, but there is a cap.
Cons
Very toxic work environment at the corporate office. You get yelled at frequently and if you’re not the one getting yelled at, you’re watching it happen to your teammates. Employees are constantly told they’re not good enough or not doing enough. Leadership would consistently change their minds about a plan of action, but then blame those who are told to implement the changes instead of accepting responsibility. Employees were constantly reminded about the support and praise they get from leadership, but then would be shown the opposite. They’re huge legal bullies, but they really aren’t able to do much in the state of Oklahoma. I will never work for a family owned business again due to their inability to leave their family drama out of the work place, their toxicity running rampant and unchecked, and their shady business operations. If you’re desperate for a job, go for it, but you’ll understand why so many people have left or are working their way out. Just because your friend wants you to work there, doesn’t mean you should. They probably just need emotional support and someone they can actually trust.
