Pros

the people, especially the new hires, who are willing to do anything in order to make a difference. It is sad to see the light leave their eyes when, after time, they realize the company doesn't care if they grow in their job or not.

Cons

Dell has no employee development program, so unless you bring something to the table you are not going to get hired (i.e. no recruiting of undergraduates on college campuses). The company hires the talent it needs , work them to death, and then lays them off when they are no longer useful. This same cycle has played itself out several times in the past 25 years. This who just look at Dell for a job (as opposed to a career) can make it through the cycles because they are not usually the high dollar earners.

Pros

- Good coworkers - Atmosphere is tolerable most of the time

Cons

The pay for ISAE is pathetic, probably close to being the lowest in the industry. I understand we are in sales, but 32k base salary is absurd. Especially considering how great the company is doing, and how much money you make depends entirely on your account set. It has nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with luck.
