Pros

Good work life balance, Austin is a great city to live in. Not much of a commute to work for most people.

Cons

Right now Dell upper management has no clue what they're doing. They seem to be living in their own castle up in the clouds somewhere, and have no sense of the ground realities. Many times information gets filtered up to them by the lower level execs and it seems that the upper management is not being presented with a clear picture about what actually is going on. Numbers are made up by Directors to present to VPs and so on and so forth. The benefits are being cut every quarter which effectively means a reduction in compensation. Job growth is not happening. People are stuck in their roles because of hiring freezes, and there is just no clear path to career development

Pros

- Good coworkers - Atmosphere is tolerable most of the time

Cons

The pay for ISAE is pathetic, probably close to being the lowest in the industry. I understand we are in sales, but 32k base salary is absurd. Especially considering how great the company is doing, and how much money you make depends entirely on your account set. It has nothing to do with skill, and everything to do with luck.
