Pros

- Benefits rock, encouraged to use them to their fullest potential - Sales training is incredible, don't think you'll find anything like it - PTO is nearly 1 month, not including company closure for the holidays, lot's of time off you're encouraged to use - 401(k) is a 6% match - Brand recognition - Great place to start your career - Nice mental health eap

Cons

- They will mask high turnover as "fast upward mobility" in the company - Sales are shady and unethical. ONLY focused on hitting a number that management KNOWS is unattainable based on the processes in place. But, this management went through the same program and doesn't care. Just do whatever it takes to put a number up, no one will check. - Smile and dial mule, processes are inefficient. You would think a tech company that considers itself an industry leader would surely adopt automated, efficient processes right? Wrong. - Fast promotion track if you drink the kool-aid and work through lunch, after 5, and on the weekends. -Account teams are far too big, no one knows what is going on with their own customers. Can't really blame them since accounts are constantly being shuffled. - You won't see much diversity in upper management. - Cheap.

Pros

Huge company with opportunities to grow and work with other teams

Cons

The multiple time zones and countries meant a lot of night or early morning calls. Also layoffs were and are pretty regular.

Pros

Looks good on a resume. Benefits.

Cons

Within two years of working for Dell Small Business, they've cut our commission rate at least five times, cut our base salary by over $10,000, had all sellers RTO, and blocked any moves within the company outside of SMB, all while increasing KPIs. Meaning more work and less incentive. The managers have almost no pull and are used as messengers to deliver bad news every couple of months. I would never, in good faith, recommend that any of my friends or family work in this department.
