Pros
More opportunities. More collaboration and communication. More flexibility with work situation. More rigor and discipline for best practices in almost all areas. More PTO!
Cons
Most of the benefits are still only OK. It is getting better, but it is still challenging to get everyone on the same page for key initiatives - silos still exist and some folk still get very territorial about their area of expertise. But compared to where the firm was 3-4 years ago it is almost like a different company.
