Pros
Really great culture, young colleagues, half days every other Friday, excellent company.
Cons
You can make a lot of money if you're placed on a team that's supporting a space of the business that's really established and prospects know who Deltek already is. If you're put in a newer space, it can be tough. OTE represents what you'll make if you hit 100% of your quota for the year so be sure to ask what percent of the team is hitting quota during interviews so you're not blinded by the shiny OTE numbers. Again, I think your earnings can heavily depend on the space you get placed in. If you really see yourself in sales and don't mind the grind, Deltek is perfect for you. The company truly is amazing. If you're on the fence about sales, ask a lot of questions during interviews to make sure it's right for you. The SDR role is just really tough in my opinion and I saw a lot of fall out in the first two months of starting because this role is such a challenge. Every call you make is from a contact you've found yourself, so it's a lot of work for a lot of rejection.
