Pros
I appreciate the flexibility of my role. There is trust working remotely and under my manager that I get my work done and the expectation to sit at my desk for the full 9-5 day isn't there.
Cons
Experiences within the PST org vary significantly. While some teams foster positive and collaborative environments, others may exhibit pockets of toxicity, bullying, and limited recognition. A lack of respect among some managers can hinder collaboration and innovation across the organization. The current performance review and compensation processes require further refinement. The promised "merit" increases during the interview and offer process do not always align with the actual outcomes. Furthermore, there appears to be a lack of clear differentiation in compensation and recognition between high-performing, average, and under-performing employees. This can impact employee motivation and retention.
