Pros

And I’m not the only one, so turnover is very low. My teammates have been here 3-15 years. Remote work arrangement is the primary reason. Second is access to market-leading tools. We don’t have to make do - we always get the exact resources we need, so we only have to focus on producing the best output. Salary is competitive, and in all my 10+ years here, there was never a year that I didn’t have a pay increase, even if a little.

Cons

HMO and dental benefits in the Philippines are nothing to crow about. No access to the good hospitals and APE bundle is basic. We have an onsite clinic with nurses and doctors, but the service quality has been on a steady decline. We just let it slide because we mostly interact with the clinic only during the APE season, which is once a year.

Great management of hours and benefits keep me happy. Engaging remote presence

Cons

Salary could be better. Training for some products is non existent and reliance on AI is very high.
