Pros
Friendly colleagues, diverse environment and global reputation. Smart and diligent cohort of junior lawyers.
Cons
Some partners don't really care about you. Can easily make your role redundant if they think you are not culturally fit, and will justify such act as “business needs”. HR is nice but at the end of the day they work for the firm. HR Administration is bad, lack of support post tenure. You are underpaid, but partners are disproportionately and excessively paid.
