You can make more money working almost anywhere else and have a way easier job. DPS expects far too much from employees who aren't being paid even close to a living wage. District leadership as well as the leadership team in the particular school I worked in for six years are absolutely horrendous. They are the worst version of "woke." In case you're wondering, I am a lifelong, pretty far-to-the-left liberal. The nonsense going on in DPS is sickening; students are no longer being taught HOW to think, but rather WHAT to think. It is nothing short of brainwashing. They are having political opinions forced on them left and right and are being taught to hate their country. This may sound dramatic or like a "Republican/FOX News talking point", but believe me, it's not. Staff are afraid to speak out against what is going on because they fear losing their jobs or having their reputation completely damaged.
