Pros

The pay is ok but on the low side for technology. Flexible hours working around projects or task and personal life. So many nice folks to work with.

Cons

Several years back they stopped being a credit union and became more like a bank. The atmosphere is competing with other national big banks out there. You never hear them compare us to other credit unions in the state. Well except for Navy Federal credit union and USAA are now here in AZ and on the managements radar. Over half the technology used is over a decade old. People refuse to change to newer technologies, the famous line is "we have always done it this way" which seems to be the motto. Several years ago the core banking system was changed but then modified to act like the system they replaced. Updates to the new system now takes weeks to implement because of how heavily the modifications were made. Senior management is large and has been there for a long time. No one moves up without someone retiring or dieing.

Pros

Amazing benefits, great management team, and the company gives you the tools you need to succeed. Many opportunities for career/education advancement. They care not only for their employees, but also for the community. This is a company you can truly be proud to work for.

Cons

No real cons, this company is fantastic. But it’s good to know moving forward that KPIs are not always easy to attain, and this industry has a lot of rapid changes to keep up with. But company is wonderful, they help you succeed, and if you are willing to put in the work, the reward is well worth it.

Pros

Some of the benefits were good

Cons

Everything. If you want to know what it’s like to be in a prison, get a job in the call center here. You are severely micromanaged and watched 24/7. They set incredibly unreasonable and unrealistic expectations that I am convinced are created and put in place to set you up for failure. You aren’t allowed to make mistakes. Also no opportunities for advancement or career growth, as much as they want to say that there is. The pay is also crap. Between management and the horrible customers that constantly berate and scream at you on a daily basis, my mental health severely deteriorated while working here.
