Pros
All the hours you could want are here. The pay is the best in the crane technician business. Guaranteed 40 hours a week. Even during the slow pandemic year. Service manager, Assistant service manager and regional manager are very understanding and have your back. Management team are easy to work with on giving time off if needed.
Cons
Room for growth in management is limited due to the business your in. Nothing against this company just in general. Last minute travel notifications for out of town work sometimes. Again, due to Deshazo being the best in service and supporting customer needs no matter how far away. It’s just the business your in. If you don’t like this then your not a service technician that understands the commitment and it’s not for you. You can work up to 18 plus hours a day depending on the job. If it’s an emergency breakdown then you do what you have to do to complete the task and get the crane running. New hires are not trained and need to be with a senior tech to get the training needed. I would recommend 3 months minimum. Even if customers are desperate. Technician Gossip is wild here I imagine like high school. Career as a tech is just that. Raises are not fair each year. Insurance is high. 401k is 50% Match up to 6%.
