Pros
I've been at Devoted Health less than 3 months and I can say it's been a wonderful whirlwind. The work is anchored by tech, insights, and data, but grounded with actual devotion to its members. I know a lot of companies say that, and mean it, but I really see how this company is trying to take it a step further to knock through roadblocks. Turning the health insurance system on its head is not an overstatement - they are really trying to change the game over here. And you feel it. Everyone really cares a lot. And I've learned so much. It's been the perfect flex. And leadership cares about transparency and fairness in all respects.
Cons
There's a high bar here. You can't rest on your laurels. That's not to say there isn't work/life balance, but there's start-up vibes and things move fast. Even if you worked for a health plan before, expect a lot of newness.
