Pros
- Mission is always at the core of every decision - Ability to have your ideas put into action - Friendly employees - all the way up to the CEO - Consistent opportunities to learn inside/outside your department - Professional development is an organization-wide initiative for the first time! - They do a lot of positive work in the diabetes community
Cons
- Changes are, at times, too fast-paced, due to dependency on government regulations in our industry - Some leaders were promoted for being good at their job, rather than their leadership capabilities. It seems they are willing to try, but need additional tools and training to be more effective.
