Pros

The benefits are okay, the pay is okay

Cons

They doubled down on sending us back to the office 3 days a week and it’s honestly a joke. This comes after waves of layoffs last year and it’s honestly the last straw. Every month we have an enterprise call where we highlight how “people first” and “data driven” we are but to be honest this is the further from the truth. If we were actually data driven we’d be moving towards a four day work week and fully remote because ample studies have shown it boosts productivity and satisfaction. If we were people first we’d let people choose to continue to be remote if applicable, because you should trust your employees to do the work and manage their own time. Instead we have to go back to the office 3 days a week, not only is this a tone deaf initiative by the CEO but we’re going to lose all our top performers and morale has already plummeted. Everyone is panic applying to leave. There’s been waves of layoffs last year to boot. DO NOT WORK HERE. in the few years I’ve been here every single time I think things are finally going in the right direction they pull the rug out and make the world's dumbest business decision. HR is a sham that allows and rewards bullying, the chief people officer is a sales person who literally has no experience leading HR and it shows. Diversity initiatives are led by two white people who have no experience in DEI, and instead crowd source additional labor from within the company on top of people’s jobs. They got rid of performance reviews so you’re screwed if you don’t have KPIs if your manager leaves because all your performance history dies with you. They only hire beautiful young white women and old unqualified white men for new roles and promoting from within is also a joke unless you’re a young hot revenue generating recruiter.

Cons

The industry itself can be incredibly stressful but I imagine its the same for competitors as well.

Pros

Quick opportunity to get promoted if you have the right mentorship and accounts. Honestly really nice employees (cross-functionally) and people are willing to help you. A good place to dip your toes in as a young hire, KPI's are fairly easily but some of the director's are a bit micro-managey.

Cons

In our office - we had 3 Managing Directors and 3 VP's in 3 years with two rounds of layoffs (enterprise wide.) The largest gap in the company is their leadership is so disconnected from the producers and what you truly need to do to succeed in sales. They run on a lot of enterprise accounts which makes it hard as a young sales person to connect with tenured sales people, who haven't truly sold or broken into accounts in some time. Additionally, there are lots of corporate politics and people in leadership that overshare other leaders dirty laundry with young sales folks, making it a bit of an uncomfortable place to be in. I think this place is a good starting zone for a career but it is not the place to be if you are a hustler and want to truly grow as a sales professional.
