Pros
I worked at Dexis as part of a large contract they have with USAID. I was so excited to work for them as they have many government contracts and are a large company. My perceptions of them were much more positive than my actual experience. My experience with them helped to explain why so many of the contractors and staff under them were brand new. Essentially they prioritized the client (USAID) even when I presented proof to verify that I had done specific tasks that USAID claimed I had not, I was still penalized as though I had done something wrong. Their only concern was the bottom line, they did not treat me like a human being because they knew there were 50+ people waiting to take my position if I left it. My program manager was also inept, misled me with her statements, and always sided with the client despite evidence to the contrary. During my exit interview, I questioned the HR staff who conducted the interview whether any of the info received during exit interviews had actually led to any change and in not so many words she said no.
Cons
everything - low pay, inhumane treatment, treated differently that Dexis institutional staff, awful benefits, not promotion opportunities
