Pros

* Great culture * People trust each other and work together * Cutting edge tech * Startup is growing at an unprecedented rate * We're forced to grow with the company & it's great to be subjected to high expectations * Lots of smart / interesting people to learn from

Cons

* Rapid growth means a lot of change & sometimes that adds stress * A lot of latency sensitive work * If you see work and life as separate things, then you may want to avoid some of the customer-facing roles (those can be very demanding)

Pros

- If you showcase talent, you will move up the company. No time-gated promotions like other companies. - Get to work on really interesting, disruptive technology. - You get to wear many hats and work on side projects that interest you. - Great meal service.

Cons

- Fully onsite positions, but there is a lack of facilities on-site. Long term a gym, more meeting rooms, better eating facilities would be better.

Pros

- Lots of opportunities for problem solving. - Great robotics platform to learn and develop (if you can get into the right work group). - Pay is decent for the industry. - Benefits are very generous.

Cons

- The environment is stressful (understandable for a startup) but hard work doesn’t feel rewarding or appreciated. Be ready to work a lot and not be recognized for it. - The team seems very reactive to problems instead of anticipating/scheduling for them, making the workload more stressful than necessary. - Teams are heavily segregated from each other making, communication of tasks and priorities difficult. - As a technician, I was rarely asked for help by the engineering staff for mechanical problem solving or design input (I have extensive experience in both). - Company culture is nonexistent. Company social events are few and far between, often feeling thrown together without much thought. Any suggestions for improving culture are snubbed or deprioritized. - Career growth plans are not taken seriously. Yearly reviews for compensation adjustments are promised by management but are not executed. - The CEO has great energy and optimism but lacks true leadership skills and is not inspiring. Those in top leadership positions who reasonably challenge the CEO are usually fired and replaced with more “agreeable” people.
