Small company. Many opportunities for experience and growth. Each individual has a greater impact on project success. Competency is rewarded with more opportunities. A fun industry to work in.

Cons

Don't necessarily get paid for taking on additional responsibilities. You WILL wear many hats, some of which will be outside of your job description. This could be considered both a pro and a con depending on your personality.

Interesting work. Lots in the defense sector - some of the most interesting platforms out there - ground vehicles, jets, rotary wing training systems. Growing and pursuing new work. Senior / executive management very accessible and they even know my name!

Cons

We are fairly small so some limitations on what we can do, but the company stresses innovation. Sometimes with downturns in the market they undergo RIF’s but no more than other companies in the market.
