Pros

Good startup perks such as catered lunch, unlimited PTO and flexible with working from home (dependent upon your position).

Cons

Company culture stems from the top down and with abrasive and negative people at the top, the entire organization is affected. Upper management is great at hiring talented and smart people, however they don’t allow those people autonomy and the ability to do their jobs as they are overly involved and instill fear in their team. The CEO knows no boundaries and does not respect the opinions of his team. Company wide emails at considerably late hours in the evening shows a lack of respect for employees and their personal lives. Startups are hard work, there’s no question. But hard work does not have to include hostility and fear. You’ll make a good salary if you join this company, but it comes at a cost.

Pros

I enjoy being around people who are really interested in solving problems. Conversations on the floor are usually about making something work better instead of simply getting through the shift. The standards are high, but I like working for a company that cares about quality and is ready to invest in new technology. On top of that, it offers good pay and benefits.

Cons

Some new processes take quite a while to get used to.

Pros

* Good pay based off of experience. I got paid on the higher end of the spectrum. * The appointment based schedule is great. * Colleagues are nice and supportive.

Cons

* Lack of clear communication between employees -> managers -> regional managers -> higher ups. Essentially no one knows what happening until the last minute, Or there's an annoying work around you have to do in order to get clear, verified information. Things are also changing way too fast to give anyone proper notice which I find disrespectful. * The hours are horrible. We're open way too late. My life is essentially my job because I have no ability to do anything else after work. * Conversion rates and quotas are ridiculous. Jewelry is one of the lowest conversion categories, yet they want us to close 50% of our engagment ring appointments. Having a quota that stays the exact same every single month despite some months being much, much, much slower than others is also just stupid.
