Pros
Free basic healthcare, catered daily lunches, "unlimited" PTO, competitive pay, truly groundbreaking products, generally pleasant peers
Cons
The direction of the company shifts every quarter, with the decisions ALWAYS being top-down. This creates a lack of focus for the company and with goals constantly changing on a whim, they become impossible to accomplish. While they hire great talent, there is little freedom given to perform and apply their expertise. If the upper management wants it, it needs to be done overnight (quite literally--with threatening emails at 10pm on a Saturday to prove it). With this kind of management, it creates an atmosphere where there is a lack of transparency, little motivation to "own" your business, and favoritism that a few clearly abuse for their benefits. Most days I left the office wondering if I'll be fired the next day or if they'll randomly let go of another coworker with little reason. Not an atmosphere where smart risks are encouraged, but allegiance (at whatever cost) is rewarded. With all that said, if you're looking for a comfortable 9-5 job with great benefits & okay being a yes-man, this could be a good one-year stint for you.
