Pros
You will get a paycheck along with some new items to put on your resume. Occasional emails from the unhinged CEO which give employees something to laugh about on what feels like a sinking ship.
Cons
This place is a mess and I've come to the conclusion that upper management is either: 1. aware of the terrible work environment and is comfortable with keeping it that way, even if it leads to people quitting. 2. suffering from serious dissociation. Everybody is frustrated. I've had a significant number of people confide in me of their dreams of quitting the company. Not a single person is happy here or confident in how the circus show is run. The way deadlines are set so unrealistically is baffling. No matter how much one works, they will always be reminded they're behind schedule and need to pick up the pace. The CEO himself is known to do this. Management, as a whole, can't manage. Your use of "unlimited PTO" is tracked and used against you. There's a long list of other points to make but I think you get the main picture: the conditions are toxic, and morale couldn't be worse. It's a sad reality, because I think this company could do better.
