Pros
Working for the company is great if you are a man. If you can manage time and reports and use your brain it has perks. Company allows forward thinking and run the business as your own. We make decisions and must be profitable to stay off the radar. You wear many hats from HR to Sales and Consulting. So far I have been with the company for 2 years. The pay increases are 7-12% annually.
Cons
If you are a woman you are not given deserved promotions without asking and same goes with pay. My superior is a man and is lacking knowledge and experience but he has been here for over 3 years. Average 1 woman to 15 men. It’s a male dominated industry. Company lacks benefits but does offer retirement. New hires coming into the company are offered the same pay as current hires with no experience. I noticed turn over is low in the management positions even if poor performance.
