Dierbergs has some of the nicest people to work with. It really is a family environment and allows for a balance so many other organizations don't allow for. The owners are passionate and actively involved in the organization, and the majority of senior leaders have worked their way up in the organization from the stores. They are committed to this business, and I appreciate that. I know many individuals who have left to work for other companies only to come back. I think that says a lot about the culture of the organization. The company is committed to developing and promoting people from within (career development program, management training classes, etc.)
