Pros
For old-time employees, the pay and benefits are good. Most days I feel appreciated. Core managers are nice and helpful more often than not.
Cons
There doesn't seem to be much incentive for quality new people to want to work for us. And I've seen many really good associates lose their drive. They get 'broken' and seem to no longer care as much about customer service, or shelf conditions, or losses due to wasted time, shrink or lost sales. It often seems like we put our eggs, so to speak, in the wrong basket.
