Pros
-Work is easy -Interview was easy -Most of my co-workers were cool -It's a job and you get paid for it, I guess
Cons
-Starting salary is $10 an hour. If you are an adult living in the US, you cannot live off of $10 an hour ($9.50 at the branch in Tennessee). Many people there have college degrees or aspirations for greater things but the company knows that lots of people want to get into the video game industry and is exploiting this. -No room for growth. There are those legendary tales of people who started in QA and worked up to lead game design positions so I understand that some people would take this as a stepping stone for greater things. Good luck with that though. Once in a while they'll promote someone internally to lead-tester but even that is a dead end job. Your best bet is to hope to get hired by one of their clients, which happens rarely, and then work your way up from their internal QA department to the job that you really want. -High turnover. Due to low pay, no chance of growth and the occasional layoffs, turnover is high.
