Pros

- Not the worst job for entry level. - Work material can be fun at times in the case of working on game projects. - Lots of fellow nerdy employees though this is less relevant with the transition to permanent WFH. - Consistent 9-6 Mon-Fri scheduling. - Some of management is approachable. - You will consistently work with the same client, meaning you can network to some degree.

Cons

- Due to a non-compete agreement, any clients you impress during your work will likely forget you by the time you can apply with them 2 years after leaving DDF. - Very, very little opportunity for advancement both in your position and pay. - You will never receive any paid time off whether it's vacation or sick time. The handful of holidays that you will receive off are unpaid. - You will receive very little feedback unless it is negative. After you leave your training period, that negative feedback will only be brought to your attention once they consider it a major issue. - Your pay will not reflect the difficulty of your work or the education you are able to apply to that work. You will make the same working on a project that benefits from knowledge of programming, SQL, and API testing as someone who tests a simplistic game, requiring 0 technical knowledge. - Do not expect to receive training or gain knowledge on modern QA techniques (automation, API testing, etc) unless you are assigned one of the more technical projects. That training will then only come from the client or veteran members of that specific team if there are any.

Pros

This is a great team who cares about their employees. They are flexible with time off requests and work hard to make sure we have what we need to succeed.

Cons

The pay is less than ideal. It takes 3 full years just to reach $15/hour

Pros

Nice work from home job. I was very hopeful and still had a spark in my eyes when I started.

Cons

They misspelled my name on my equipment return email and they wanna get on me for using past tense oof. They’re very nit-picky. Everything has to be in a particular formula. A lot of stuff is piled onto you on training week. They tell you to ask questions, but when you do, they delivered it in such a way that makes you feel small.
