Pros

Just for starters, DCU has been on the list of the 25 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America for 4 consecutive years. That alone tells you a lot about this company. Not only that, but DCU has grown exponentially over the last years, even while other financial companies struggled. Here is a tiny list of ways DCU spoils its employees: - Free Ice-Cream, all day every day! - Two personal Gyms(probably to burn off all that ice-cream) - Game rooms - Plenty of employee and family activities - Discounted tickets to anything you can think of DCU is BY FAR the best company I ever worked at!

Cons

Because we just went through a major conversion, it appears that DCU lost some of it's family oriented style and fell into a stressful mentality.

Micro management new ceo and since merger everything went down hill from there. Lots of favoritism no appreciation for the employees anymore. Basically the score changed for the worse adding ridiculous things to it. Open ended questions ok but if your question is not what they like you fail. Coaching and side by sides no help what so ever. Changed the structure some that were real great leads out or changed to something else. New leads or management are horrible they do not know how to lead at all. A lot of people quit including upper management because what they did is not good. Others quit because of the change it has nothing to do with not being adaptable to change. it has do some of the employees are being triggered to either leave or get layed off or let go. Agents that are awesome ask to much questions they want you out. Employees that are horrible they keep. It used to be a great place to work you get trained you there was growth employees appreciated for what they have done. New ceo she cut all of that out the Dcu way and culture no longer.
