Pros
I would say the best thing about DCU is the community and culture. Everyone you come across or meet that works for the company is caring and determined when it comes to work ethic and synergy. Genuinely great people to work with. Benefits are great and there are and from what I heard about previous years, the yearly raise in pay has been generous. Although, this year it seems we can be certain these raises will NOT be as generous. Not sure why that is.... I will also say work-life balance is also good. You won't feel the need to "take your work home with you" after you leave for the day. Although constantly changing shifts in initiatives and projects are jarring and often makes unfinished work feel insignificant.
Cons
Most people Ive met have worked at DCU for decades. This goes to show how employees love DCU. However, this also shows how growth is stagnant when it comes to being promoted and getting higher titles. Mandatory hybrid setting in Marlborough, MA is also a bit silly to me considering were supposed to be a CU that caters to members digitally. Remote work should be offered in more roles to attract more talent.
