I would’ve never thought that a three month contract would turn into a one-year relationship of one of the biggest retailers in the United States. I am so blessed to have been presented with this opportunity.
The weekly pay has been amazing and convenient as a mom of two young children. It gives me the agility and flexibility to live comfortably, and the team has been responsive and supportive along the way.
Communication is great. The process to start the job was pretty easy and people were helpful along the way. They check in every few weeks to see how Im doing and ask me if I need anything.
Cons
I didnt realize that a short-term contract could be extended without my input. Im stuck in a crappy, low-paying contract job and cant quit because I won't get unemployment.
