Pros
Remote-first company Small stipend to cover home internet Teammates are bright and dedicated and willing to share their knowledge
Cons
Most teams have been completely decimated due to poorly executed layoffs. A significant amount of institutional knowledge has left and those roles are being replaced with junior engineers from overseas, and the knowledge transfer for these new roles is moving slower than anticipated. As a consequence of this, there has been a significant rollover and change in C-level leadership as career professionals are resigning to move to new roles. There is a lack of accountability at a leadership level for decision-making. CEO regularly tells people that "if we don't believe in the leadership team, that we should look for other jobs". Travel/Professional Development dollars do not exist for individual contributors, and promotion paths for most, if not all, roles have been eliminated.
