After-hours get-togethers end up sloppy and embarrassing. If you're over 45, you are shunned. I watched many talented people being put out to pasture because they were older and didn't "fit the culture". What was worse is one of them actually helped win a huge piece of new business. Toxic would be an apt description of the Philly office.
