Pros

-You work at DISNEYLAND!! You get to brag to family, friends, etc. -Perks include 20-35% merch discount, and free sign in admissions, 16x a year, up to 3 guests per visit. - You get to see cool behind-the scenes (but for the most part, it's really gross or full of garbage) - Get to set up for cool seasonal, private parties, or Halloween/Christmas. - If you're lucky, you can meet some cool friends. - As a stage technician, you are not technically a "guest facing" role, which is nice because you generally don't have to put up with rude park guests. - Pay as a stage technician is pretty good, other roles like attractions, custodial, etc. are paid way below the cost of living in Anaheim.

Cons

- BOB CHAPEK - RUDE GUESTS. - Crummy coworkers who have been there for 5 years or 25 years, jaded, grumpy, rude. Out to get you and will definitely try to stab you in the back or throw you under the bus if they can. -Th - The company DOES NOT care about you. - You think you get to do creative things as a tech, but you are the grunt. You are not a lighting or audio designer, you are the monkey that lifts the heavy lights and plugs them in. But again, they pay you decently, so, eh? - Almost all management are snakes, don't trust them. -You do not get benefits or guaranteed hours unless you are Full Time. You generally hire in as seasonal or part time, and it takes 3-5 years to get full time status.

Pros

Strong teamwork, clear operating procedures, good benefits, and opportunities to learn in a fast-paced environment. The job has helped me build reliability, communication, safety awareness, and the ability to handle changing priorities.

Cons

Workloads can become demanding during busy periods, schedules may change, and the fast pace requires constant attention and flexibility.
