Pros

I am no longer employed

Cons

Kings of the failed practice of bringing a completely irrelevant and way to lenghty canned slide deck. How to tell the customer you are not their trusted advisor and you have no relevant value to add off the jump. Intelligent companies started moving away from these practices decades ago. One of the founders regularly circulated a documemt that was meant to be something akin to 'best practices', but instead it was labeled 'phrases that will get you fired'; and in the grand scheme of things, somehow, was not that bad compared to other instances. From GTM strategy, to pricing, to what even is our purpose, the company made a kids soccer game appear highly sophisticated. They laid off the entire sales team, and we got unemployment just to show how out of whack this place really is. Most companies, even when they are shady, are still competent enough to document something, even if cobbled up out of thin air.

Pros

They tried to build a good culture, but ultimately couldn't.

Cons

I really need to point out that C-level not only "encouraged" employees to leave good reviews but also, when you leave the company, threatened legal action if you say anything bad about them, and left it open-ended about what that means. I read through all the reviews, and all the negative ones are pretty spot on. The management team now prefers to use up good employees rather than maintain a good work-life balance. The C-suite often has naive ideas that they sometimes implement to disastrous effect. The product is unnecessarily overbuilt, making it slow and insecure. Only the C-Suite members ever really knew the financial posture. Almost all people there don't know the product, only a piece of it. I mean, I could go on, but my advice is to trust the negative reviews more, since they were posted despite the threat of legal action, and the positive ones were encouraged by upper management to be posted.
