Pros
Docutech isn't my dream job by any means, but I am very grateful to have it. I'm a recent college graduate with a pretty useless liberal arts degree, so with living in Southeast Idaho, the job market isn't the most promising. So it may not be my favorite job, it is great for this area. I enjoy the people in my department and truly believe that I am surrounded by legitimately good people. My department lead and boss have treated me really well. Free coffee, soda, and occasional catered meals. A company doesn't have to provide these things, so I think it is pretty cool that DocuTech is doing things that are considered progressive for a work culture and environment. All of our tech is to date.
Cons
All of the cons that I have are unique to me as a person. I struggle sitting for long periods of time, and am naturally a busy body. This on top of a hour and a half commute every day. Some days can feel long. While the PTO and Bennies aren't the best, I'm just happy to have them. There is quite the learning curve with DocuTech's system. It can be frustrating, but not impossible to learn. It just takes time. Like I said, this isn't my favorite place I have ever worked. I don't enjoy everyday, but I do enjoy most of my days and am happy to be an employee here.
