Pros

-Flexibility -Good training -If you have S-tier good people its easy

Cons

-No work/life balance -Work 18-40k for free every year -Extreme lack of support from corporate. They know the issues but because people still work for them there's no change. -Low payroll and no real metric on how you get it. It's based of store size not sales or workload like they say. -Low pay keeps good employees away. -All your vendors or reps make they same or more than you do. Go work for them.

Pros

The job itself is easy. The cash register, stocking (especially the totes and dry truck) and cleaning are so simple however there are certain things that make it difficult, although the work itself is not (under the right circumstances.)

Cons

They never have enough people on shift so it’s always difficult to get things done. It seems like all the managers I know from the store I worked at and the surrounding ones are all so deep into drama it made me wonder if I was back in high school. Dry truck always seems to bring far too much and the stores are so little that overstock is a huge issue here. The reason I ultimately left was due to severe mistreatment and some safety concerns I had regarding some past experiences. I am very glad I left and I would not ever go back.
