Pros

Flexible, easily transfer from city to city or a whole different state if life moves you, I love my job, great if you wanna a job you can advance in.

Cons

I have a hard time keeping crew because of pay and hours available, I have always said truck hours should be a set amount that is separate from the rest, it is next to impossible to get a whole truck stocked in 48 hours when you only have enough hours to have 2 people to unload and stock, but hey no one listens to the people who do the work, work what I got for 1 week, bet you will see what I'm talking about, I swear I need a episode of undercover boss in my store, I even use my own money to show my employees a thank you once a month because the upper mgmt only tells us we ain't doing enough, but we work hard to do the best we can, there is so much good and bad I can't write it all

Pros

My coworkers are kind and honest. The work is fun when it can be and some of the customers have a good spirit. When it comes to your break, you can at least afford your snacks/meals cause they're cheap. I find it fun to look into what my customers are buying. Managers are great and modest about their greatness. Would recommend to a friend because there are worser places to work at.

Cons

Some people have been consistently calling out in my area and I am burnt out from people who don't show up when they're scheduled to. If you're a cashier, you only get a ten minute break and it's not enough time for ramen. You'll feel lucky when you get 30 minutes for covering someone else's shift. Corporate is dramatic with some of their rules, like it's considered theft if you don't pay for your food, but you require a manager to be present in order to pay for it, and managers can be busy at times. Some customers can be quite impatient whilst making the line longer with demands, especially if they don't calculate their finances whilst shopping. Some of the technology is old and when it's broken down, I am told that I am not allowed to put "out of order" signs up. Some customers don't understand that they should never pay with a $100 bill early in the morning at any store. If you want to volunteer and do extra work without a payroll, you will be told that you can get written up for it because they have to pay you. The trainings on workday are obvious that they're old by many years and have not been updated to match new policies.
