Pros

If you like a fast pace environment and daily challenges and seen your own hard work start paying off in sales.

Cons

The cons are that they do not give you enough hrs to properly run the business. Not enough hrs to have enough cashiers for business demands even though upper management drills into you that they do give you enough hrs to run process. No they dont. Managers have to be the overseer, the cashiers, the stockers, the maintenance, the truck unloaded, the merchandisers. No hrs to train new associates so in turn you have a high turn over in employees. When another store gets behind in there own process because they have hired wrong people for the job now they make other store salary managers go into another store to get that store back on track. Mean while they dont give you the hrs you need to cover your store and you end up having to work 60 to 70 hrs that week.

Pros

My coworkers are kind and honest. The work is fun when it can be and some of the customers have a good spirit. When it comes to your break, you can at least afford your snacks/meals cause they're cheap. I find it fun to look into what my customers are buying. Managers are great and modest about their greatness. Would recommend to a friend because there are worser places to work at.

Cons

Some people have been consistently calling out in my area and I am burnt out from people who don't show up when they're scheduled to. If you're a cashier, you only get a ten minute break and it's not enough time for ramen. You'll feel lucky when you get 30 minutes for covering someone else's shift. Corporate is dramatic with some of their rules, like it's considered theft if you don't pay for your food, but you require a manager to be present in order to pay for it, and managers can be busy at times. Some customers can be quite impatient whilst making the line longer with demands, especially if they don't calculate their finances whilst shopping. Some of the technology is old and when it's broken down, I am told that I am not allowed to put "out of order" signs up. Some customers don't understand that they should never pay with a $100 bill early in the morning at any store. If you want to volunteer and do extra work without a payroll, you will be told that you can get written up for it because they have to pay you. The trainings on workday are obvious that they're old by many years and have not been updated to match new policies.
