Pros

The company provides a car and they pay for gas. Bonus payout is huge. Most Regional Support team are friendly, well only one in our region.

Cons

If you work for a RD on the west coast in the southwest be prepaired to be spoken to like you are a child, made to feel like you are less than human, be told one second how great you are and the next you are no better than trash. You will be micromanaged beyond your wildest imagination, you will be held to unrealistic standards, you will feel like at any moment you are worthless, and you will be held accountable for your store managers actions. They pump too much freight into the stores, and you have to magically get it out of the backroom, you will be told shrink is internal as you watch carts and carts of product walk out of the store. The list goes on and on.....

Pros

My coworkers are kind and honest. The work is fun when it can be and some of the customers have a good spirit. When it comes to your break, you can at least afford your snacks/meals cause they're cheap. I find it fun to look into what my customers are buying. Managers are great and modest about their greatness. Would recommend to a friend because there are worser places to work at.

Cons

Some people have been consistently calling out in my area and I am burnt out from people who don't show up when they're scheduled to. If you're a cashier, you only get a ten minute break and it's not enough time for ramen. You'll feel lucky when you get 30 minutes for covering someone else's shift. Corporate is dramatic with some of their rules, like it's considered theft if you don't pay for your food, but you require a manager to be present in order to pay for it, and managers can be busy at times. Some customers can be quite impatient whilst making the line longer with demands, especially if they don't calculate their finances whilst shopping. Some of the technology is old and when it's broken down, I am told that I am not allowed to put "out of order" signs up. Some customers don't understand that they should never pay with a $100 bill early in the morning at any store. If you want to volunteer and do extra work without a payroll, you will be told that you can get written up for it because they have to pay you. The trainings on workday are obvious that they're old by many years and have not been updated to match new policies.
