Pros

Every once in a while you have a good night on tips. More the exception than the rule these days.

Cons

You are paid about $4/hr while making deliveries, akin to a waiter, which would not be so bad except for the perception Dominos has allowed to propagate is that the delivery charge is an automatic tip to the driver. (It goes to store revenue, not the delivery driver....and although Dominos does have a small disclaimer on its extremely clutter pizza box, very few read it....and those that do are incredulous) You do get a mileage reimbursement of sorts (per delivery, not per mile). However, this reimbursement is a slap in the face when you consider the cost of gas, maintenance/repair, and rapid depreciation to your vehicle due to all those miles accumulated. You are basically borrowing money against your car at pennies to the dollar (~20-40 cents to the dollar) Long hours, low pay, possible intolerable/incompetent managers, etc, etc.......etc

Pros

Low stress driving in your own vehicle and tips are a nice incentive to smile. Time goes by quickly.

Cons

Wear and tear on vehicle, mileage aside. New tires. Ac running all day. Taking down your vehicles value by driving it constantly. The smell of pizza in your interior. Time goes by quickly. Wake up one day and you’re 50 with another broken down car delivering pizzas with no retirement plan.
