      Pros

      A lot of the employees are very nice, hardworking and professional (not the HR staff though) and probably deserve to be treated better than they are here.

      Cons

      Terrible management-childish, irresponsible, horrible CEO and doing some very seedy things. Management and HR make the work environment unbearable. Distrustful workplace as there are cameras filming the staff and CEO has advised that everyone is constantly being watched. Every thing anyone does is undermined by upper management and their constant jockeying for power. The employees there mean nothing to them but deserve way better than the leadership can offer. Please don't work here...

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
