      Pros

      It is a job. A lot of very experienced intelligent under utilized employees.

      Cons

      No accountability. Takes a do as I say and not as a I do approach to management . They are blatant about not trusting their employees which breeds poor morale and inefficiencies in the workplace. Always looking for a scapegoat rather than a solution. Too many politicians and not enough effective leaders. Policies are not enforced and are not worth the paper they are written on. No equality in the workplace, not among gender, wages or non union employees. Employees are set up to fail. Company offers little to no training and expects you to figure it out yourself.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
