      Pros

      fellow employees were easy to work with, was a good team atmosphere there was a good work/life balance, working a 4x4 schedule the pay and benefits were on line with industry pattern

      Cons

      the mill is closing there is a lot of disrepair often presenting dangerous and unnecessary situations poor leadership and support from management payroll was often incorrect

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
