      Pros

      -Great people on the teams in the department's and at the mills. Good benefits and pay. Generally good atmosphere outside of dealing with upper management.

      Cons

      - Dont bother coming to domtar if you are technically competent or plan to become so. Corporate is so technically weak they aren't able to identify people who actually know what they are doing. You can literally save a facility millions of dollars a year and get practically zero credit for it. -They are more interested in hiring people with CI tools than people who actually know how to cost effectively run their facilities.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
