      Pros

      If you live in Espanola, it's not a far drive to work. Also, it will make you appreciate your next employer much more.

      Cons

      Worst workplace politics I've ever seen. Poor decision making from the mill manager down. So many great employees have quit or been fired because upper management is constantly trying to cover up their mistakes. You would expect Corporate to step in but they seem to be just as inept. They also preach workplace safety but it's only to cover themselves if the ministry of labour gets involved. Safety issues are constantly brought up and management won't fix the problems, not a safe place to work. I could go on and on.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
