      Pros

      Working at Domtar was fun and motivating.

      Cons

      There are rarely any openings for higher positions. A lot of people have been there for 25+ years and are not planning on leaving anytime soon. Unfortunately this forces the employee to find something elsewhere.

      Pros

      You support a local site. Good rapport with other departments and hourly makes the job great.

      Cons

      Company merger. Domtar was the gold standard between the 3 companies. Now, Resolute seems to make all the decisions despite being the farthest behind in IT.
