Cons
The company prides itself on being family owned/oriented But, the company is growing so large so quickly that it really has no choice but to begin to adopt the soulless corporate atmosphere found everywhere else. Literally back breaking labor,for deliveries, sorting and separating up to 20 tons of individually packaged food items at unpleasant facilities with unsavory types of people. Full truckload deliveries can take up to 6-8 hours with injuries very easily occurring from dropping cases and/or pallets, tripping over pallets, splinters from pallets, torn/stretched muscles. Rolling sleep schedules every 10 hours. Inability to move wit out pain for several days following an ungodly large delivery. Plus all the usual truck driver unpleasantries, peeing in a bottle, sleeping in a car, long boring miles for 11 hours at a time, disconnected from normal society. Away from family and friends, sleeping at work, irregular bathing opportunities. No apus in trucks means no appliances or air conditioning while trying to sleep in your car after heaving 20 tons of freight in 100 degree heat with noisy trucks/cars/people all around you at all hours. They do not use Qualcomm, they use a clunky slow system called peoplenet. They tend to over-pinch their pennies. Especially considering drivers spend more time in their trucks than they do in their own homes. Basic modern conveniences of home, specifically air conditioning.
